8th European Conference on Symptom Validity Assessment (SVA)

The European Conference on Symptom Validity Assessment centers around evaluating the credibility of presented clinical symptoms and addressing malingering. Renowned researchers, clinicians, and test authors will present recent findings and discuss best practices and real-world applications.

This conference is organized for everyone with an interest in the latest research and state-of-the-art clinical practice of symptom and performance validity assessment. This meeting gives participants the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge, as well as to exchange on current issues related to symptom and performance validity assessment.

We are in the process of forming a program committee who will reach out to you soon with more information, and will ask for your active contribution. With your valuable feedback and ideas from our previous SVA conference in Polignano, Italy, we aim to create an engaging, diverse, and interactive program that covers a broad range of topics.

We are excited to have found a beautiful location for the conference: Málaga!

The conference will be held in the vibrant city of Málaga, located on Spain’s stunning Costa del Sol. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and picturesque mountains, Málaga offers a perfect blend of rich history, modern attractions, and a lively cultural scene. At the time of our conference, the city enjoys pleasant autumn weather. Consider extending your stay to explore Málaga’s world-class museums, such as the Picasso Museum, relax on its golden beaches, or take a scenic day trip to nearby gems like Ronda or the Caminito del Rey. Easily accessible via Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, the city is renowned for its beautiful waterfront, delicious Andalusian cuisine, and excellent local wines.

As in the previous years, we will do our best to acquire clinical accreditation for our congress.
